An exceptional venue will host the event: Le Vivier Technology Park for industrial development in Villaz-St-Pierre.

Start2Match is the international matching event for the development of contacts and new forms of stable entrepreneurial collaboration. It was conceived and organised by the Swiss Business Group, a Swiss company headquartered in Lugano, with the aim of supporting businesses in their internationalisation process.

In synergy with Start2Business (the corporate network of the Swiss Business Group), Start2Match was set up to pair traditional face-to-face meetings with the latest on-line communication tools in use today. The Business Matching Online tool is available at www.start2match.com, which offers continuing meetings between companies, even outside of the event itself, and aims at providing economic development opportunities.

On the occasion of Start2Match Fribourg, Le Viver Technology Park and the Venturi incubator pulled out all the stops to provide support to companies and start-ups, in order to offer them the best possible location to accommodate the various matching meetings planned for the day. The daily vocation of Le Vivier and Venturi is to accompany businesses, both start-ups as well as well-established companies focusing on technological expertise and innovation while providing them with the location and the optimum means to bring their start-up projects to life.

The collaboration between the Swiss Business Group and Le Vivier is the result of their shared commitment to assist in the development of businesses, providing support for their internationalisation process (for companies from Lugano) and logistic support to companies (for the Fribourg industrial development centre).

The Swiss Business Group has set up two specific awards accessible to all event participants: the Best Startup Project Award and the Best SME Project Award, which will respectivelybe awarded to the Startup and SME with the most votes during the event. Throughout the day, participants will have the chance to present their projects and stuation to the participants of the Start2Match public, as well as a technical jury.

In order to allow the biggest participation to Start2Match Fribourg, at a time when corporate resources are often limited, the Swiss Business Group has decided to offer free attendance to the first hundred businesses interested in taking part in the event.

We would like to take advantage of this opportunity to give them our thumbs up and to report our strong support in the current conditions in which so many SMEs and start-up companies find themselves. They need now more than ever before to be able to rely on secure means and tools to promote and develop their business.

The Swiss Business group, a Swiss company headquartered in Lugano, has been supporting the economic development of companies on international markets for more than fifteen years. The experience gained over the years has allowed it to develop a number of tools to help the internationalisation process of companies, including specifically the creation of the on-line corporate business network Start2Business, a platform which allows companies and entrepreneurs to handle their business in the best possible way, along with their contact network.

Le Vivier is a new type of industrial centre, whose primary vocation is to be a place where companies with a high technological and innovative value can establish themselves and find logistic support.

Venturi prefers to define itself as an accelerator rather than an incubator. Venturi provides support for all companies undertaking a new project, providing managerial, technical, strategic and operational solutions in order to encourage and speed up the development and the success of their projects.
